UPDATE 1/2/2026: I received feedback regarding an issue with Bambu Studio moving the prime tower off the build plate when the printer type was switched. Turns out Bambu Studio didn't like the custom prime tower settings I had been using. I have updated the profile using default prime tower settings and it's works fine now.UPDATE: Fuzzy skin was added to the leg bones to help with the fit of the joints. The fifth member of the Produce Wars series, The Karate Carrot! So far in this series, I have turned the stem of a fruit/vegetable into swords, a fuse and a gun. I wanted to keep the trend going, but I didn't want to do another sword, fuse or gun, so I thought that I'd split the carrot stem into nunchucks. These are the last weapons in the series as next weeks bot doesn't have a stem.Assembly should be easy enough, but transformation might be a little tricky. Starting with this bot, I'm attempting to create video guides as well as the regular guides with photos, but that is a bit challenging as I suffer from hand tremors. ASSEMBLY      TRANSFORMATION  The video can be hard to follow, so I'm going to add a photo guide as well.First, let's fold up the legs. Twist each leg so that the knee is facing down and then fold them together. You might have to do a little twisting to get them into place. Next, open the door to the chest, twist the head around 180 degrees and fold the head into the chest. Make sure you can still see the face. The face orientation is very important. If his face is pointing in when you transform, then it will be very difficult to get the head out of the chest.   This is the tricky part. You need to swing the forearm and hand up into the shoulder. Before you move the arm/hand, try and twist the shoulder to make room for the arm to swing.   Now swing the bottom of the shoulders up to the lip of the body as seen below.    Looking at it from another perspective, you should see something like this.     Next up, nunchuck storage. You'll notice that the nunchuck handles have grooves all over them. Well, that's to help keep them secure while they're attached to the shoulder. You can see from the photos that they clip onto the lip of the shoulder. Place one in first and make sure it's nice and flush to the flat side of the shoulder, and then fit the other in next to it. Once you have one side done, repeat the steps for the other shoulder.     Your carrot should look something like the photo on the left at this point. From here, you need to fold the arms in as you see them in the picture on the right. One forearm stays horizontal, and the other goes vertical. This is done because the elbows are too wide and when fully transformed into carrot mode, each elbow will need to occupy a little bit of space in the opposing shoulder, so they need to be folded up differently.     The last thing to do is to fold both shoulders together. If you see a gap like the middle picture below after you have folded the shoulders together, then it's likely just the chain from a nunchuck getting in the way. Back the pieces off just a bit, give it a little rattle to adjust the position of the chains floating around inside and then try closing again.   If you like this, check out my other bots in the Produce Wars series as well as my latest bot, Van Der Batter
